Our trip will see us visit three countries in Africa, and meet the organizations and people we partner with throughout the year.

South Africa & Mennonite Central Committee: We will uncover the history of Apartheid, meet youth who are turning their slum home community into a place of opportunity, and participate in the South Africa Peace Building Institute. Bruxy has been invited to teach and lead workshops at the Peace Building Institute during our first week.
Malawi & World Vision: We will visit Mposa and Chamba with World Vision and learn about these communities, which we as The Meeting House have committed to supporting through over 2,000 child sponsorships. We will learn first-hand from the project team and families whose lives have been forever changed through the continued and committed support of our church.
Zambia with Mennonite Central Committee & Brethren In Christ: Guided by MCC’s local team, we will learn about various programs The Meeting House has supported in Zambia and about other projects in the region. We will hear from community members and learn how these programs have impacted their lives, as well as the current challenges they continue to face. We will also meet with the Percy and Sanfilippo families (BIC Missionaries) to experience their work and lives first-hand while learning about the programs and projects they have been involved in. As former members of our Meeting House community, this will also be a great opportunity to encourage the Percys and Sanfilippos!
